Day 2 - Country Music Challenge

Day 2: Least Favorite Song.

Ummm I don’t think I really have one. But I know there are certain country songs that come on that I immediately change because of the memories/people that are attached to them. 

One of these days

One of these days, I’ll learn how to play the guitar, and actually sing and all these poems about Texas and the country will become songs that people love and that get played on the radio. 

Someday the Eli Young Band will let me “call the tune” and Wade Bowen will point at me and say “You’re trouble”. Josh Abbott will know that I’m “like Texas”, Casey Donahew will “ask me to stay” and Randy Rogers will “steal me away”. 

Someday… when these lyrics have music to them and I have the chance to hear them sing my songs. 

I say someday… because I already have my career planned out, and dreams aren’t quite as believable or achievable when you don’t have musical training.
